Client had implemented Life & Critical Illness Cover with us many years earlier via Zurich.
Event
Cancer claim.
This diagnosis came to light with us late in the day, when discussing a mortgage review, and the client mentioned her recent treatment but hadn't thought to check her cover and see if a claim was an option.
Outcome
We checked the cover, and it remained in the timeframe, so we were able to submit a claim with the provider. Given the clients diagnosis we supported the family in the claim process, ensuring it was dealt with as swiftly as possible and enabling them to have sufficient funds to clear the mortgage in place at the time.
